Accessibility
Updated October 2026.
Our aim
We want everyone to be able to browse our coffee, order and manage a subscription on this website, whatever device or assistive technology they use. We work towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we've done
- Screen readers: buttons, links, forms and photos have labels and descriptions, and pages use proper headings.
- Keyboard: everything can be reached with the keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link.
- Reading: text and buttons meet contrast guidelines, and the page can be zoomed without breaking.
- Motion: if your device is set to reduce motion, animations are turned off.
- Forms: mistakes are explained in words, not by colour alone.
Reading aids
The blue button in the bottom-left corner of every page opens a few options: larger text, higher contrast, underlined links, an easy-read font and stopping animations. Your choices stay on as you move around the site, on this device.
Known limits
Some things come from other companies, such as card payments and maps, and follow their own accessibility standards. We keep checking our own pages as we change them, and some may still fall short.
