What we collect
- Orders: your name, email, phone, delivery address, what you ordered and any gift message, so we can make, ship or deliver it and contact you about it.
- Accounts and subscriptions: your name, email, a scrambled (hashed) password, and your subscription choices and delivery address.
- Payments: card details go straight to Square. We never see or store your card number.
- Newsletter: your email, once you confirm it.
- Follow-up emails: if you start a checkout or order coffee, we may email you about it: a reminder if a checkout wasn't finished, brewing tips after an order, a note when your bag is likely running low, or new coffees if it's been a while. Each email has a link to stop them.
- Wholesale: the business and contact details you send us.
- Questions on the FAQ page and the coffee finder: what you type, to answer it or suggest a coffee.
- Messages to us: what you write in the chat, the contact form or by email, with your name and email if you give them, so we can reply.
Who we share it with
Only the services that help us run the shop, and only what each one needs:
- Square: payments, subscriptions, invoices and our point of sale.
- Uber Direct: your name, phone and address when a courier delivers your order.
- Shippo and the carrier: your name and address on shipping labels.
- Resend: sends our emails (order confirmations, password resets, replies to your messages, the newsletter and follow-up emails) and receives your email replies to us.
- OpenStreetMap: checks your address for courier delivery.
- Anthropic: answers the questions you ask on the FAQ page, and reads what you describe in the coffee finder.
We don't sell your information or share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept for as long as tax law requires. Account details are kept until you delete your account. Unconfirmed newsletter signups are deleted after 7 days.
Your choices
- Delete your account from your account page. Subscriptions are cancelled, your login and newsletter signup are removed, and past orders keep only what tax records need, without your name, email or address.
- Stop the newsletter and follow-up emails with the unsubscribe link in any of them, or write to us. Order and delivery emails still arrive.
- Ask for a copy of your information, or a correction, by emailing .

What this site keeps in your browser, and why. You can change your choice at any time.
